HEARING AID BASICS
Hearing aids aren’t “one size fits all” products that restore your hearing loss. They do, however, come in many shapes, sizes, and features to improve your current auditory range.
Sound is collected through small microphones and sent to an amplifier, where it is converted into digital code and adjusted for your hearing needs. The code is then changed back into sound waves and transmitted to your ears via receivers, or speakers.
